Girls Junior Varsity Basketball vs. Kalamazoo Christian Schools

The Lady Squires battled hard in their final game of the season against the Kalamazoo Christian Comets, falling in a heartbreaking 38–35 contest. Despite the outcome, the ladies showed tremendous grit, resilience, and teamwork until the final buzzer — a true reflection of the growth and character they displayed all season long.

The Lady Squires finish the year with an impressive 10–8 overall record and an outstanding 9–2 mark in conference play, a testament to their commitment, hard work, and determination throughout the season.

Leading the way offensively were Chloe Berg and Mikayla Oosterheert with 8 points each. Makenna Olsen added 7 points while anchoring the defense with a strong presence in the paint. Kayleigh Caterino contributed 5 points, highlighted by a huge second-quarter three-pointer that sparked momentum, while Claire Francisco added 5 points of her own. Ava Bylsma chipped in 2 points and continued to make key contributions across the floor.

This season was defined by effort, growth, and heart, and the Lady Squires have plenty to be proud of as they close out a memorable year together.
